Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to join a special technical tour of the Gold Coast Desalination Plant on Friday, 12 December 2025, starting at 9:30am. This is an excellent opportunity to see one of Australia’s major desalination facilities up close and gain insights into its operation and water treatment processes.
The tour is free of charge, and the conference organising committee will arrange return transport from the conference hotel to the plant.

As the tour can accommodate a maximum of 30 participants, registration is required and spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure to complete your registration through the above link by Friday, 28 November 2025.
Important Requirements
•    All participants must wear full PPE: long-sleeved shirts, long trousers, and flat closed-in shoes.
•    Hard hats, safety vests, and safety glasses will be provided onsite.
•    The tour involves walking and stairs; a good level of mobility is required.
•    Photography is allowed only at designated locations; filming/video is not permitted.
•    Before the tour, all participants must complete the Veolia Safety Induction Form and return it to        education@seqwater.com.au before the tour.
